I love dogs

I love dogs, they are my best friends. I want more people to enjoy the wonderful world around them and I want the people I love to love dogs, too.

If this project is a success, all funds will go toward purchasing and training the puppies to be a team. If they are not a successful team, I will return to the community for donations.

My dogs will have training in Agility (the dog agility competition), Tracking, and obedience. They will go onto a 5-day-a-week obedience program with professional trainer/dog trainer. My goal is to make sure the dog stays in the home with him and his dog mommy and/or daddy. All dogs will have basic obedience and behavior training.

My goal is that everyone that loves animals as I do (and I hope everyone does, as I do) will have their own dog for life.

I need help.

Help us raise funds for the dogs.

Help support my dreams.

Help me keep the dogs.

The reindeer

Reindeer can eat dry leaves, grass, twigs, leaves and branches from trees; some will even eat grass from bushes as well.

Mountain Reindeer are more agile than reindeer from other areas; they can climb trees and rocks, they are better at running than reindeer from the plains.

There are several groups of different varieties of reindeer; they have been bred, intercrossed and have genetic variations from other areas.

How can you tell your Reindeer from a mountain or the other kinds? There are several ways; one is by size; the other is by color and markings. The most obvious difference is by the ears; there are two types; one is the long and flat with the white tip and the second is the long pointed with the black tip.

Another difference between the different types and their breeds is in the way their eyes roll. Mountain types roll on the side. Reindeer do the same as a mountain.

The biggest difference between two reindeer is the way their ears curl. Reindeer have a more rounded ear.
The other differences are the color of their eyes and their ear tips. Mountain eyed, are very pale blue with yellow tips. Reindeers have a dark blue with yellow tips.

Riding and training can be done a little different for mountain and reindeer. For mountain types, the main thing is to get them in the house before dark or the sun will cause them stress. The main training method is to have the reindeer ride up a tree so that they get the sun on their backs. For reindeer, you can get the reindeer riding up a tree for short distances, then they learn to stay on the tree in a tree for longer.
